Parent Empowerment

The Role of Parents/ Guardians in Achieving our Mission

We are committed to working in partnership with parents/guardians to fulfil their child’s potential. Without your support and involvement our Mission is harder if not impossible to achieve Parent Agreement. On accepting a place at RISE Education, pupils and parents will be asked to sign an agreement to confirm that they understand and comply with the policies and procedures set by the School. We request that all parents/guardians read through and sign the agreement and comply with all our policies.

Parent’s Skill Programme

We believe that we will help to raise the academic and social aspirations and achievements of children by engaging parents in the education process and helping them to deal with the enormous and often difficult but rewarding task of parenting.

Below are some of the topic areas covered during our parent empowerment programme:

  • Healthy Discipline
  • Managing Conflict
  • The Assertive Parent
  • Understanding the Educational System
  • Helping Your child with Revision
  • Understanding Adolescent Sexual Health
  • Social Drug Awareness

This is a 3-week programme run termly on 3 conservative Wednesdays from 6.00pm – 7.30pm. Details will be sent to parents at the beginning of the academic year or when their child is enrolled.
