Parent Empowerment Programme
As part of our admissions policy, parents are required to attend the Parent Empowerment Programme. The programme consists of 3, one hour sessions, once a week over 3 weeks. For the convenience of the parents, the programme is held after working hours.
The objectives of the programme is to:
- Up-skill parents and enhance their ability and knowledge of the education system so they can better navigate and support their child through it.
- Resolve parents’ commitment to working in partnership with RISE, the ‘Home’ School and their child to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Equip parents with the tools and techniques they need to deal with teenagers and challenging behaviour where it presents
- Providing parents with a networking opportunity to communicate with other parents and share ideas
